More homes wanted for ‘Green Open Homes‘ weekend

Have you insulated your home, put solar panels on your roof, installed a smart meter or even built your own eco home? If so, and live in the Penwith area then we’d like to hear from you.

Following the success of our last ‘Green Open Homes’ event in May, we are looking for more householders who have made energy and environmental home improvements, large or small, to take part in our next event, 2nd – 4th October. If you would be willing to share your experience and your home with other local people interested in installing green home improvements.

Participants will be given the option to open their home from 1 to 6 half day sessions depending on their availability, so we’d love to hear from anyone who has made green improvements to their home and would be happy to share their experiences with other local people.

WCCR will support all host homes providing a range of guidance on what to do and information to give out to visitors, as well as organising the events and being there to support home owners on the day.

For a no-commitment chat about being part of the ‘Green Open Homes’ event please contact Rob on 0800 772 3687 or email

Green Open Homes is funded by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, and supported locally by renewable energy technology installer, Natural Generation.
