WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

Bosavern Community Farm logoBack in the summer a planning application was submitted for a 50kW ground mounted solar PV system and for new farm entrance.

Unfortunately at that time the Cornwall AONB office and St Just Town Council objected on grounds of visual impact of the solar array so the application was withdrawn. After further consultation the proposals have been scaled back and now have the support of the AONB Planning Officer and the Highways department, so the application has been resubmitted.

We now need to show public support – so please can you help.

The easiest way to give your comments about the application is online at the Cornwall Council Online Planning Register (http://planning.cornwall.gov.uk/online-applications/ )

You can also find all the documents and maps related to the application there and we have also put core maps and a bit more detail about the project at www.wc-cr.co.uk/bosavern-documents as lately the Council planning website has been a bit unreliable and crashes regularly.

If you have any questions or would like more details about the proposals then please do contact Rob Pickering, who is leading the project – at: robpickering00@yahoo.co.uk

THANK YOU
