WCCR Management Board

Rob Pickering (Executive Director) is an experienced energy advisor and project manager with extensive knowledge of sustainability and climate change issues. Is also qualified Domestic Energy Assessor and Green Deal Adviser

Rob co-founded West Cornwall Community Renewables, and also co-founded Bosavern Community Farm, a community food project on 36 acres near St Just. He also co-founded Lands End Peninsula Community Land Trust, a charity, developing affordable housing schemes locally.

Mike Berris (Director, Board Chairman & co-founder) is a retired builder; initiated the Goldsithney energy group; acquired funding for micro wind turbine at St Pirans Hall, Goldsithney, and is a renewables enthusiast.

Andrew Swan (Director & co-founder) is a graphic designer and artist. Has been active in the Goldsithney energy group, having a keen interest in low impact sustainable living.

Ian Flindal (Director) has recently joined the Board of WCCR and brings a wealth of experience. He farms a smallholding in west Penwith, and has a background in municipal estate management. The last three years he has been providing consultancy to farmers in Cornwall to install micro wind turbines.
